Why are there so many different styles and systems? What are the tools, tips and apps that can help make the task easier?
This session will look at working to your potential at University focussing on being an independent learner. The key elements of making the most of your lectures, reading and note making from research and time management will be incorporated into the session.

This starter session explores the value of building and maintaining emotional resilience.
We will look briefly at some of the challenges faced by students with SpLDs and strategies which can help. We will refer to the Do-IT Profiler and the information contained in the Profiler reports. Finally, we will signpost students to our Inclusive learning website (and resources) and outline the procedure for getting a full diagnostic assessment if required.
Campus Tours will be led by current students studying at University. The tour will take you around the Penryn Campus helping you to familiarise yourself with main areas such as the Library, Seminar/Lecture rooms, Student Services, FXU, The Sports Centre and possibly the schools/departments relevant to your study.
