General information
Falmouth Exeter Plus is a data controller and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Officer as required under the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR for short). Falmouth Exeter Plus will only process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The information on this page only relates to the Do-IT Profiler screening. What information is collected by Do-IT Profiler?
In order to start the Do-IT Profiler screening, you have to enter the following personal details:
- chosen user name
- student ID number
- first and last names
- date of birth
- gender
- phone number
- chosen password and password retrieval answer
Who can see your information and why do they need it?
We will not routinely contact you to discuss your results as Do-IT Profiler is primarily intended as a self-assessment tool. However, your data can be accessed by:
- Inclusive Learning and Accessibility staff in order to advise you on further assessment and support at university.
- Falmouth University Management Information System administrators, who extract students’ Do-IT Profiler data into a secure online report for academic and professional staff*.
- Falmouth academic and professional staff, who can see a colour-coded summary of their students’ scores to help them teach more inclusively*.
- Do-IT Profiler administrators, who provide technical support (e.g. password resetting and improvements to the system). They may also use anonymised data from all Falmouth users for research and analysis.

Where is my data stored and how long for?
Your data is stored within Do-IT Profiler's secure online system and Falmouth University's secure online Management Information System.
At the end of your final year, your Do-IT Profiler data will be archived for one year. One year after that, it will be deleted.
You can contact us to have your Do-IT Profiler data deleted at any time before this by emailing inclusive@fxplus.ac.uk.
