About us

We support students with long-term health issues and disabilities by recommending adjustments to teaching, assessment and accommodation.

Our aim is for all students to feel valued and included and to have the right support in place to facilitate life at the University.

We can advise you on applying for Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA). This could help overcome any practical barriers to learning, and might include: support workers, study skills tutors, specialist equipment or software. Wewill  work with you in a confidential and supportive way to discuss your needs.

Accessibility Advisers can also work with you to create an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to share with your course team. An ILP will outline any reasonable adjustments recommended to support you.
